11,000 square foot inspiration space opens in new Buckhead location

on May 14

MADISON, Wis.  Sub-Zero, Inc., and Wolf Appliance, Inc., industry leaders in refrigeration, wine storage and cooking equipment, are pleased to announce the opening of its new Atlanta showroom, which joins the list of other corporate showrooms spaces in New York and Chicago. Previously located in Duluth, Ga., the Sub-Zero and Wolf Atlanta showroom is on the second floor of the prestigious Terminus building - 3280 Peachtree Road – located in the bustling Buckhead neighborhood.

“The Atlanta showroom is a statement of our passion for product excellence and continued commitment to our consumers,” said Jim Bakke, president and CEO of Sub-Zero and Wolf. “From cooking demonstrations to design seminars, our showrooms serve as an experiential resource where homeowners and designers can get solutions and inspiration for any kitchen design project.”

Enveloped in sprawling floor-to-ceiling windows, the showroom is equipped with a live demonstration kitchen; training rooms, outfitted with advanced audiovisual equipment; and a large common area where guests can relax and enjoy the space. An expansive showcase area was also built to display the latest Sub-Zero and Wolf products, providing designers, architects, and consumers with the opportunity to view and interact with the products as to give a better idea which styles, sizes, and finishes best fit their kitchen project needs.

Zingg Design, an architectural firm based in Madison, Wis., oversaw construction and developed the design concept for the entire space. The showroom’s lifestyle area design is a result of collaboration between Atlanta based Design Galleria and Chicago-based nuHaus, two of the country’s leading kitchen design firms. The area, which spans 2,000 square feet, features a fire pit, private dining room, wine grotto, custom kitchen, and seating area.

The new showroom will also be completely wireless, allowing for uninterrupted internet connection, and include a 65-inch touch screen computer that guests can use to research design ideas, products, and much more. In the future, paperless product quotes will be generated via iPads.

Complimentary valet parking and a private elevator entrance will also be available to guests.
